Wow, I rarely post on here uh?!. Ok, so, latest news? Latest news. I now play with Turner Stough and Tim McCoy. Very nice human beings, not to mention, fantastic musicians. We just finished recording/mastering our new EP at Galuminum Foil Productions in Brooklyn, with the help of our good friend, producer Jeff Berner. It's called "All Before the Head of State" and shall be released as soon as I have enough money for duplication. Nueva York tends to be expensive. I guess it's part of the charm of living here. What else? Um. Still love NYC, its energy and all of its music everywhere, all the time. It can sometimes be a little overwhelming, yet SO worth it.

In other news, I've been taking Spanish classes and I now understand a good 50% of Spanish soap operas on UniVision and a good 25% of conversations on the G train. Sweet sweetness. This is fun.

I live in Brooklyn, NY now. Sweet.
I feel very fortunate to have found an awesome drummer to play with. His name is David.
He's great. I'm going to start booking shows soon...as soon as we can find a decent bass player.
Last night, I saw an incredible set by Britt Daniel (Spoon) at Sound Fix. You gotta love New York.

IKEA furniture (or everything you need to know about international relations)

We went to record a few drum tracks last week at some studio on Papineau. Guillaume did an amazing job. Yay. We also did a live version of Sunburn, and I’m pretty excited about it.

Emily Easterly and JSeger are coming up north next week to play with us. You should drop by.

Basic Tracks for Lovers.

Hi!
I don't really blog BUT (!) we are recording an album, and it's pretty exciting. "We" being Rob and I, with a little help from our friends Phil, Isaac & Dan.
So maybe, just maybe, I'll post some pics & vids on here. Not that anyone really cares.
We've been recording on&off for the last 10 months. People died, people were born, jobs were lost, jobs were found. I think the album is going to be called "Basic Tracks for Lovers", but don't tell anyone.


Currently listening to : Eels. They've been around forever, but for some reason I just started listening to them. I really like that dude.
